Wes Canter is a multi-talented singer, songwriter and instrumentalist. His unique style is influenced by folk, blues, and traditional southern roots music.
Linda Frank has been making music for decades and plays traditional (and not-so-traditional!) clawhammer style banjo.
Wes and Linda are at home in rural Virginia, in a little area called “Bumpass”. Yes, it’s a real place!
The name "Bumpass One Boot Connection" appeared one evening while they were playing together. Wes grabbed one boot and a board to stomp out a rhythm. The name stuck.
